Piab Suction Cups and Vacuum Gripping Systems

Safe, gentle and repeatable gripping for packaging, automotive, logistics and robotics

Piab vacuum gripping solutions cover the entire functional chain: from the suction cup (the direct interface with the part), to ready-to-use grippers and gripping systems, through to EOAT components and accessories for installation, height compensation and vacuum management. The range is designed to ensure gripping stability, reduced part damage and rapid integration on automated machines, industrial robots and cobots.

Fluid System supports technical departments in selecting the correct combination of suction cup geometry, material, compensation, valves/accessories and gripping architecture (single suction cup, multi-suction cup, area gripper or dedicated gripper).

FAQ — Piab suction cups and vacuum gripping systems

When the part has height differences, height tolerances or surfaces that are not perfectly flat: bellows help compensate for height differences and stabilise gripping.

Yes. FDA/EU-approved silicone solutions are available, also in detectable versions, useful for reducing the risk of contamination by foreign bodies.

Yes. Conductive/ESD versions are available for electronics and battery applications, helping limit risks related to electrostatic charges.

With complete gripping solutions or correctly sized EOAT components and mounting interfaces compliant with ISO 9409-1, reducing design and installation times.

They improve repeatability and reliability: they compensate for misalignment, facilitate mounting and manage vacuum release/holding through dedicated functions (non-return, AQR, piSAVE®).
