Low-pressure pumps
PLP series
Max pressure: 90-100 bar. Available displacements: from 16 to 120 cm³/rev. Flow rate at 1450 rpm: from 23 to 174 l/min. Controls: mechanical adjustment. Applications: compact systems, power units, automation.
Flexible mounting
ISO-standardised flanges and shafts. BSP gas connections and SAE 3000 connections. Through-drive shaft (option “A”) for multiple pumps. Displacement limiter included on all series.

FAQ - Berarma Hydraulic Vane Pumps
Thanks to variable displacement and their operating principle, Berarma vane pumps provide precise, dynamic flow control, resulting in greater energy savings and lower heat generation than fixed-displacement gear pumps. Under the same operating conditions, they also ensure quieter operation, making them well suited to critical applications such as moulding and die-casting presses.
The choice depends on the intensity of the application. If the system is complex, such as a press requiring high pressures (up to 250 bar) and precise control, the PHP series is the right answer. For simpler duty cycles and low-pressure applications (up to 100 bar), the PLP series offers very good performance in a cost-effective way. If installation space is limited but high performance (up to 210 bar) is still required, the P04 series is the ideal compact solution.
The saving is significant and measurable. By regulating flow only according to what is actually required by the duty cycle, the throttling losses typical of fixed-displacement systems are eliminated. This results in a direct reduction in electricity consumption (up to 30-40% in many cases), lower stress on components and a very fast return on investment.
