Fluid System’s Production Division represents the company’s manufacturing core: a highly specialised department that has been designing and building hydraulic power units, special cylinders and complete systems for Italian and international industry since 1984.

We support machine builders with a targeted engineering approach: through preliminary technical analysis, we develop tailor-made solutions that balance high performance and cost efficiency, both in terms of initial investment and operating costs. Our methodology includes:

The production facility in Villorba (Treviso)

In 2013, Fluid System moved its production operations to a new 3,300 m² facility in Villorba, in the province of Treviso, designed to maximise efficiency and manufacturing quality. The facility includes:

CNC MACHINING DEPARTMENT

  • CNC lathes and 4.0 machining centres.
  • Precision machining on bores up to 600 mm.
  • Surface treatments and special finishes.

ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT

  • Dedicated assembly stations for power units and cylinders.
  • Assembly bench for custom valve blocks.
  • Clean-room area for critical components.

TESTING DEPARTMENT

  • Certified test bench for pressures up to 700 bar.
  • Functional testing with real-time data acquisition.
  • ATEX and PED testing in accordance with current regulations.

PRODUCTION WAREHOUSE

  • Computerised management of materials and semi-finished products.
  • Lean logistics to reduce lead times.
  • Full lot-by-lot traceability.

Our production capability combines CNC 4.0 machinery, advanced CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and deep design expertise built up over more than 40 years.
At our Treviso facility, each project takes shape through:

Advanced technical design

• Full 3D modelling of power units, cylinders and hydraulic blocks.
• Hydraulic calculations for circuit optimisation (cycle diagram).

Precision machining and treatments

• Dimensional tolerances in accordance with ISO 2768-m.
• Internal and external grinding.
• Bespoke machining for complex geometries.
• Chrome plating / nickel plating of rods for marine environments.
• Internal coating with optional paint systems to customer specification (C5M).

Lean processes and quality control

• Reduction of waste and downtime (implemented since 2022).
• Dynamic scheduling with MES software.
• In-line quality control (zero-defect approach).
• 100% in-house testing of our own manufactured products.

Dedicated technical support

The Production Division does not stop at delivery: our technical team provides ongoing support.

Scheduled support and rapid-response service

We offer both scheduled technical support and rapid-response services through standard or tailored contracts.
We work directly at the customer’s premises, including on hydraulic piping systems, with complete supply and final testing.

Mobile filtration unit

We have a mobile unit for hydraulic fluid filtration and monitoring, for targeted analysis and restoration of optimum operating conditions.

Maintenance of hydraulic systems

We provide routine and extraordinary maintenance services, also on site, for small and medium-sized hydraulic systems. The service is intended for industrial production lines and similar systems, with targeted interventions to solve the most common hydraulics-related issues.

On-machine pipework installation

Fluid System carries out complete hydraulic installation work, both on machines under construction at our premises (turnkey) and at the customer’s site (machine builder) or end user’s premises. The service includes structured piping, testing and functional verification.

Advanced electro-hydraulic support

Thanks to a highly trained team and experience in complex applications, we can work on hydraulic systems operating close to their design limits. We have in-depth knowledge of software for the parameterisation of proportional components, a key expertise that allows us to provide advanced technical support also for sophisticated electro-hydraulic systems.
